I believe it's one of the common threads, but I wonder exactly how common?
I've had anxiety issues since I was 11.
It was really bad in the months before VS, and then I had a migraine aura attack 2 days before the VS so..I think it's all linked in my case at least!
I've definitely always been a worrier. I had a ton of stress/anxiety/lack of sleep right before the VS hit, so I agree - Definitely linked in my case!
Sounds exactly like me before the VS too - stress, not sleeping, anxiety was really bad..
Blaaa. I wish I could back to the day I got it, and just slept in instead!
VS creates anxiety. Not other way around.
I've had VS for 10 years and only recently has my anxiety started, when my VS symptoms spiked.
I've never had anxiety. In my case it's not related at all, I'm as chill as they come!
Yes, anxiety hit me hard when I first realized what I might have, later I discovered that I definitely have visual snow and anxiety and depression got worse, and it still hurts but I am doing better now. but every morning I wake up a broken mess and pull myself together later on, I think it's because I am only 14 years old and when I realized I had it I knew I wasn't going to be able to do my dream job
Holding out hope for a cure.
I never feel ashamed that in 2012 i was suffered with the anxiety. It is a most common problem but we are always ignore the symptoms.
When you get surprised does the VS show up more?
I have anxiety now, ( 100 percent because of the snow) I was always a laid back none nervous guy, I never suffered from anxiety at all before I had VS, another word's the direct reason for my anxiety is the vs...when i see it it makes me worried sometimes im going to go blind or the snow will get worse. I never had any problem with anxiety cause nothing health wise ever happened to me and nothing was not worry about that was to extreme to be considered anxiety, until the snow.
btw i believe anxiety makes the snow worse, obviously, as anxiety heightens your senses, so the snow will be more noticed. But i can confirm anxiety is not why i have the snow, anxiety didn't give me a actual physical condition in which i notice 24-7.
However, if you can keep your anxiety down the snow doesn't bother you as much, but often it does just bring anxiety to you for obvious reasons.
