I was curious as to whether anyone here with visual snow has also had laser eye surgery to correct other issues such as myopia, astigmatism, etc. What effect did it have (if any) and did you find that your surgeons firstly recognised what visual snow was, and if they were hesitant to treat you knowing that you have it?

I'm currently looking to get laser eye surgery for myopia and astigmatism, but I've found that some surgeries simply have never encountered VS before.

I got Lasik 3 years ago for myopia eye condition from a clinic in Toronto. It was on of the best decisions I have made. The procedure for me lasted about 5 seconds for each eye. I didn't experience any kind of pain either. But it all depends on how bad your eyes are. My vision got even better after healing. I still see perfectly now.

My mother had also done with cataract surgery, So she was advised by the doctor to put eye drop for a week, Additionally she also took care of her eyes by wearing sunglasses all the time, do not came in contact in sunlight, artificial light and many more things.
